Retraction of previous post and apology to Anas Canon, other Rappers
Bismillah
So I took down my post yesterday as my can see. I made a mistake in publicizing the video. I am not going to blame anyone but myself. Not even the Shaytan, for it just whispers. Since I made my mistake public, I feel I should make my apology public as well. May Allah forgive me for any wrong I have said and done. Ameen!
I also want to apologize to Anas Canon and other rappers mentioned in what I posted yesterday. Sharing it is like condoning it. I do not condone it and I apologize for sharing it. It was a misguided attempt to try to bring light to an issue that there isn’t really any evidence out there or proven.
Those who made comments, sent Facebook messages and emails to me who said they were aware of the accusations. I ask you all to go to the proper channel in seeking answers. I don’t think I can be much help at all other then asking Allah to make it easy for everyone.
Again, may Allah (swt) forgive me for anything wrong I have said or done. Ameen!

Review of Maher Zain’s “Forgive Me” Album
I saw an advertisement for Maher Zain’s new album “Forgive Me” after watching one of my good friend’s video (Raef) and decided to check it out. I looked at the track list and saw he had a track called “Mawlaya” and another “Mawlaya (Arabic)” which made me decide to check it out. At first I was going to buy just the 2 tracks but I decided that I might as well get the entire album for my family too. I am not an avid music listener and I don’t want to get into the delicate discussion of music and it’s permissibility or impermissibility. So on to the review!
