May Allah be pleased with them all. I know it’s not a big deal, but I thought it was pretty interesting that he did this in Iran which is led by a Shia-majoirty government who do not accept the leadership or authority of Abu Bakr, Umar and Uthman. May Allah be pleased with them.
Interesting developments in Egypt in the post-revolution election politics. There are two candidates running. The Mubarak-era prime minister, Ahmed Shafiq and the Muslim Brotherhood’s candidate, Mohammed Morsi. Mufti Ali Gomaa suggests that Ahmed Shafiq is closer to Allah than Mohammed Morsi.
